Babette’s Coffee Shop & Bakery

On a small side street that happens to be one of Linköping’s oldest, you will find Babbettes. In a yellow turn-of-the-century house, they found their place on earth and founded their coffee shop and artisanal bakery in 2011.

Since then, the house has been filled with people, coffee, and the scent of bread and buns from the bakery. They love cooking and baking from scratch, with real ingredients. Their range varies by season and is created with great consideration for the environment, with reuse and as little waste as possible.

They cook and bake with care, focusing on the beautiful, tasteful, and creative. Their buns and bread won SM gold, silver, and bronze medals in Eldrimner’s championship for food craftsmanship in 2023. In the evenings, the house is often filled with music, conversation, and literature. A few years ago, they were proud recipients of the Lars Winnerbäck cultural award for this endeavor.
