Tant Blomma is a tragicomic one-act play that encompasses both pitch-black despair and absurd humor in a story about humanity’s longing for meaning in existence.
Kristina Lugn had a unique ability to describe life’s eternal questions with humor and precision: life, love, loneliness, and death.
Tant Blomma is a frustrated childminder. It’s late afternoon, and she’s gearing up for an evening party. She’s going out dancing with a friend and may meet “the one.” All the children have been picked up except for the precocious baby Gugge. His mom is supposed to come any minute. But why isn’t she coming?
On stage, we see the fantastic Kalle Westerdahl and Ulrika Hansson.
