With his unique ability to balance the absurd with recognition, Christoffer Nyqvist has become one of Sweden’s most beloved young comedians. Now he’s back with a new stand-up show “Lejonet från Norden”.
Despite the title, it is not about Gustav II Adolf, but instead, it’s a silly 75-minute long show about what Christoffer has been thinking about since last time.
– I want to play with the format of the one-man show this time, and the idea is actually that it will be a bit more of a show, which you might not associate with me directly. But it’s something I’ve long wanted to try, and it’s important to take the chance now that we have booked larger venues than a pallet, says Christoffer.
Christoffer started with stand-up when he was 17 years old, which is now ten years ago. “Lejonet från Norden” will be his second solo tour.
– I think it’s fun to write stand-up, to come up with jokes. As usual, I start from myself, and in the absence of that, the news. Therefore, I have to start reading the newspaper again and/or experience terrible things I can make funny, he notes.

The bag ban no longer applies to Konsert & Kongress, Saab Arena, and Stångebrofältet.
However, we recommend bringing a smaller bag – preferably no larger than 40 x 40 x 20 cm – to facilitate entry and storage. Bags may be searched at the entrance.
