The tribute success is coming to Linköping and Östergötlands museum.
When the legendary Neil Young turned 80 last year, EP’s Trailer Park was asked to do a tribute concert in his name – a tribute concert that was then realized in front of a sold-out Slaktkyran, described as magical and resulted in an extensive tour.
EP’s Trailer Park has always had a special relationship with Neil Young: His way of writing songs, singing, and playing guitar has always been there as one of the cornerstones in their own music. The band from Gotland has been described as one of the Swedish pioneers within what was then called alt country and is now known as Americana.
The first album was released in 2000, and since then, the band has released six more albums, collaborated with the likes of Buddy Miller, Ryan Adams, and Ron Sexsmith – and split and reunited countless times. An orchestra with many lives.
