Cultivations of the broad bean

Bondbönans Odlingar is located 12km southeast of Linköping in the middle of the beautiful oak landscape that the small cattle herd helps to maintain.

The cultivation is managed on a small scale with a lot of manual labor and no pesticides. Cow and chicken manure from the farm itself is used as fertilizer.

The season starts in May with the sale of vegetable plants, the first early vegetables, and the self-picking of tulips. Around Midsummer, the farm shop opens with a varied selection of vegetables during the season, which usually lasts until Christmas. In mid-July, the self-picking of flowers opens and is available until the frost comes in October. The area with summer flowers has expanded every year.

Wandering around among the swaying flowers and buzzing pollinators is pure joy. A bouquet of flowers can be so much more than a bouquet of red roses flown around half the globe.

My hope is to be able to supply the local area with vegetables and flowers of good quality and to entice you to dare to try new flavors and enjoy what is in season.
