Göta Canal, Berg – Borensberg – Berg. Guided cruise with nine locks and two aqueducts in each direction with the ship M/S Wasa Lejon which began operating on Göta Canal in 1984
With M/S Wasa Lejon, you get to experience one of the most beautiful parts of the Göta Canal. She travels between Berg – Borensberg and offers a breathtaking experience right from the start. It is an impressive lock staircase that at first glance seems impossible to ascend. The journey continues through a lively countryside with houses and estates from the 1700s and 1800s.
We travel along avenues of majestic deciduous trees. In total, we pass nine locks. Among them is Östergötland’s only manually operated lock in Borensberg. During this tour, you will also have a very special experience as we pass over the aqueducts in Ljungsbro and Borensberg. After a short stop in Borensberg, we head down again, back to Berg.
