Before: Preparations
- New songs? Or maybe a whole new album? Make sure to catch up on any new music. Sure, the classics are great, but it’s boring to miss a sing-along opportunity. Take the chance to listen to the new music in the car, at the gym, or on the beach!
- Reach out to your concert buddies and plan how to get the evening started. A nice picnic, cozy barbecue evening, or treat yourself to a good dinner at one of Linköping’s many restaurants? The possibilities are many! See Linköping’s range of restaurants here.
- What can you bring? Check what applies to your specific event, is a bag, umbrella, or deck chair okay? Look it up before the event to enter the area much more smoothly!

- Be on time at Stångebrofältet. You and your friends want good spots and time to acquire any refreshments on site.
- Do you want to film with your mobile phone for personal use during the concert? Go for it! A suggestion is not to sing along yourself in the song being performed while you film. There’s a risk you might be heard more than the artist, but who knows, you might have an undiscovered talent!

What are really the best things to bring to a concert? We would recommend these:
- Fully charged phone! So you can film and take photos as much as you want. But also so you can easily contact your friends if you get separated. Many people gather at Stångebrofältet.
- Bug spray! It really can’t hurt. You want to focus on the music and not worry about tomorrow’s mosquito bites, right?
- Rain poncho! Check your weather forecasts but bring a rain poncho just in case. Inside the area, you will not be allowed to bring an umbrella to avoid being in the way of other concertgoers.
- Blanket! Nice to sit on if the opportunity arises. Maybe difficult at the front of the stage. But for those who prefer to sit further back, it’s nice to sit on a blanket with friends and take in the concert. Deck chairs are unfortunately not allowed to bring into the area, so it’s a good alternative if you want to rest your legs a bit.
