So exciting that you are going to organize an event in Linköping! To assist you, we have developed a marketing guide where we provide tips on local marketing channels – both offered by Visit Linköping & Co and by other commercial operators. Link to Marketing for organizers.

For us at Visit Linköping & Co, safety during events is very important, both to demonstrate that the events organized in Linköping are safe and secure, and to reduce the risk of accidents. Therefore, we have, together with the Fire Department, Linköping Municipality, the Police, the County Administrative Board, and the Environment and Community Building Administration, developed:

– a safety guide for events (pdf) in Linköping with a special appendix for public safety (pdf) and a template for safety planning (Pdf).

It is our hope that the guide will serve as a practical tool providing support to carry out safe and secure events in Linköping together.

In Linköping, we like events and meetings. Together with Linköping’s municipality and the business community, we at Visit Linköping work according to our Guidelines for the visitor industry and events, to promote the development of the visitor industry and to create a city that is attractive to live and reside in but also to visit. Below, you who are an authorized representative for your organization or association, can apply for a grant for your event or meeting with Eventgroup. You apply by completing the Application form and attaching the full budget for the event or meeting. The application must be received by Eventgroup at least three (3) months before the relevant event or meeting date.

Eventgroup consists of representatives from Linköping’s municipality as well as the visitor and event industries. Read below about how to apply for a grant.

Application
>> Step 1: Start by reading the Cross-municipal application guidelines for events and meetings. To be able to apply for a grant, all requirements under point 3 Requirements for organizers of events and meetings seeking grants must be met.

>> Step 2: Fill in the Application form and attach the budget for the event/meeting.

>> Step 3: Await decision from Eventgroup.

In case of granted funding
>>Step 4: Conduct the event/meeting in accordance with the decision.

>>Step 5: Request payment of the granted funding by completing and submitting the Evaluation form no later than thirty (30) days after the event.

>>Step 6: Payment is made according to the decision within 4-6 weeks after the evaluation form is received.
