To manage and administer ticket purchases, including payment, ticket delivery, and customer support.
How do we collect data?
When you purchase tickets through a ticketing system used in connection with our events, you provide certain personal data. Depending on the ticketing system, partners, and setup, this data can be shared with us, for example, to administer the event, manage customer service, or follow up on the booking.

Contact details such as name, email address, phone number, and any billing information.

The processing is necessary for Visit Linköping & Co to fulfill its obligations under the contract.
Retention period for the data
Data needed to manage and administer the ticket purchase is normally stored for up to 24 months.
Certain data may need to be stored longer if required by law, such as according to the Accounting Act. Such data is then stored for up to 7 years.
Purpose
To send newsletters with information about events, offers, activities, and other happenings in Linköping that we think may be of interest to you.
How do we collect data?
We collect data through forms on our websites or in connection with ticket purchases, where you have consented to receive communication from us via one of our ticket sales partners, such as Ticketmaster.
What data is processed?
Email address, name, and in some cases additional information you provide, such as address details, phone number, or areas of interest.

Data retention period
The data is stored as long as you are a subscriber. If you have not interacted with our mailings for 24 months, your data will be automatically deleted.
Purpose
To fulfill our agreement with you regarding conference and event services.
How do we collect data?
When you book conference or event services with us via phone, email, or forms on the website.
What data is processed?
First and last name, email, phone number, billing address, customer number.
Legal basis for processing
The processing is necessary to fulfill agreements.
For data provided in contact and inquiry forms, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in being able to manage and follow up on your inquiry.
If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter, your data is processed based on your consent.
Data retention period
Data provided in connection with inquiries and bookings are saved to manage the dialogue and potentially enter into agreements. If no agreement is made, the data is saved for up to 24 months.
If an agreement is made, the data is saved during the term of the agreement. After the agreement has ended, the data can be saved for up to 24 months to follow up on the customer relationship and enable future business dialogues.
Certain data, such as invoice documentation, may be saved longer to fulfill legal obligations according to accounting laws.
Purpose

When you apply for a position via our recruitment system ReachMee, the information you provide in your application is registered.
What data is processed?
Name, birth year, contact information, CV, cover letter, selection answers, and any attachments (certificates, grades, etc.).

The processing is based on our legitimate interest in conducting a structured and fair recruitment process.
Data retention period
Your data is stored for up to 12 months after the recruitment process has been completed.
Purpose
To manage contact, registrations, and participation in activities that occur outside our websites, such as events, competitions, surveys, or other direct contact.
How do we collect data?
We collect data when you provide it in connection with competitions, paper forms, physical activities, or through contact via email and phone.
What data is processed?
Name, contact details, and other information relevant to the purpose – for example, chosen events, free text responses, or mailing address.
Legal basis for processing
The processing is based on consent or our legitimate interest in administering the current activity. You will receive information about the processing when the data is provided.
Data storage period
The data is stored for up to 12 months after collection, unless otherwise specified at the activity.
Who processes your data?
Visit Linköping & Co has implemented technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, such as access control in systems. Only individuals at Visit Linköping & Co who need to process the data according to the purposes above have access to your personal data.
How long do we keep your data?
The duration for which personal data is stored varies depending on the processing being performed. You can find specific information about storage under each processing above.
We do not retain personal data longer than necessary based on the purpose. In some cases, however, data may need to be retained longer to fulfill legal obligations, such as according to the accounting act or due to rules on public records and archiving.
